Blackjack is a game that somehow reminds me of a rollercoaster. It is a game that begins slowly, but gradually gains speed. As you grow your bankroll, you feel like you are getting up to the top of the coaster and then when you aren’t expecting it, the bottom falls.

Blackjack is so incredibly like a wild ride the similarities are ghastly. As with the popular amusement ride, your blackjack game will peak and things will appear as though they are going great for a time before it bottoms out one more time. You have to be a black jack player that is able to readjust to the ups and downs of the game because the game of blackjack is choked full of them.

If you like the tiny coaster, one that doesn’t go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way that you can enjoy the crazy ride is with a much bigger wager, then hop aboard for the roller coaster ride of your life on the monster coaster. The high stakes gambler will love the view from the monster rollercoaster because he/she is not considering the drop as they rush hastily to the top of the game.

A win goal and a loss limit works well in black jack, but very few gamblers adhere to it. In black jack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it is going up, that’s just great, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster begins to toss and turn, you had better bail out in a hurry.

If you do not, you will not naturally recount how much you enjoyed life while your bank roll was "up".
