Blackjack Is Like A Rollercoaster

by Agustin on Aug.27, 2019, under Blackjack

Blackjack is a game that reminds me of a rollercoaster. It’s a game that starts out slowly, but gradually picks up the pace. As you grow your profit, you feel like you are getting up to the top of the coaster and then when you least expect it, the bottom drops.

Blackjack is so remarkably like a rollercoaster the similarities are bizarre. As is the case with the popular fair ground experience, your black jack game will peak and things will appear to be going well for a while before it bottoms out again. You must be a player that is able to adjust well to the ups and downs of the game because the game of black jack is choked full of them.

If you like the tiny coaster, one that cannot go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way that you can enjoy the coaster ride is with a fatter wager, then jump aboard for the crazy ride of your life on the monster coaster. The big money player will love the view from the monster crazy ride because he/she is not mentally processing the drop as they rush hastily to the top of the game.

A win goal and a loss limit works well in black jack, but very few players adhere to it. In black jack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it’s going up, that is terrific, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster starts to twist and turn, you had better get out in a hurry.

If you do not, you will not necessarily recount how much you enjoyed the view while your bankroll was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, a crazy fun ride … your head in the stratosphere. As you are thinking on "what ifs", you won’t clearly recall how "high up" you went but you will be reminded of that mortifying drop as clear as day.
